Memorable Memorial Weekend

I had the lucky opportunity to spend some quality time with my dear friend, Karen the last couple of days. She is VERY pregnant and was in serious need of a little TLC.

I tried to help her out by cooking up some grub and helping her around the house with her three adorable kiddos. It was so much fun spending time with her and getting to know her kids a little better.

Here's Spencer, he took time
out to have lunch from his busy schedule of roller-blading and making new friends with the neighbors... He's a gem!

Here is Hannah waiting "patiently" for me to come play cars with her. It was so nice to feel so popular for a couple of days! I was in high demand and I loved it! She was so cute, especially when she was trying on her dress-up clothes and then showing me how each one looked on her while twirling! Oh to be a little girl again!

Here's sweet little "Squish" or Sienna as her birth certificate states. She is as sweet as syrup and a cuddle bug for sure! She can do some pretty fantastic tricks on the trampoline and wants to make sure you are "watching her feet" while she does them.
Karen and Brad have a lovely home and it's always such a treat to spend time with their family. Happy kids, funny parents, beautiful decor, yummy food, and comfort surround you! They know how to make their guests feel welcome.

LOOK at the size of that fridge. You could park a VW beetle in there! Can you sense the jealously I have for this girl and her home?

My wish is for Karen to get through these last couple of weeks of pregnancy with little discomfort, well-rested nights, and to be able to relax on the couch to watch an entire television program with out the cable going out! "Technical Difficulties" suck when you're banished to the couch on bed rest.

Thanks for letting me play and chat, I loved being there with all of you and I can't wait to come for my next visit when you're bambino enters this world!

I cannot thank you enough for all you did for me over the past few days. Your help was tremendous, your food awesome, and your attention to my kids something they desperately needed! You are an amazing person and I'm so lucky to have had you in my life for THIRTY YEARS!!!!

Oh, and thanks for not posting a picture of me!

I saw on a previous post of yours that you dont get very many comments. Well here is one... Love the music! (don't know if you heard any of these but check out "The Weepies" song "Gotta Have You" and Francesca Battistelli and her album "I'm Letting Go" - great voice!). I enjoy reading about you the boys and your hubby. And if you could see your new visitor map closer you would see Renton on there all the time! Keep the posts coming! Your page has been on my fave list since you started it.

Well I just checked and I guess I dont show up on your map's list of visitors :( Must be my paranoia with my multiple levels of internet security keeping me anonymous.

Hey Gary! Nice to hear from you! I'm not sure how accurate that little world map is, but it sure is fun to look at! Yesterday someone in the Middle East was checking out my blog. How weird is that?!

I will listen to the music you suggested, thanks!
